Key Responsibilities
- Lead root cause analysis and drive the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions
- Participate in product and process development teams, as applicable
- Analyze failure reports and recommend corrective actions
- Collect, analyze, and report quality metrics and measurement data
- Support smooth transitions of new product releases into manufacturing with a strong quality focus
- Facilitate the development of Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) for new product introductions
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, and Product Management to improve product and service quality
- Investigate and resolve assigned quality assurance projects
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with Supplier Quality teams
- Participate as an auditor in the Vertiv Quality Management System
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or equivalent experience
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, or a related field preferred
- No prior experience required with a bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Valid driver’s license required

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to design special tooling, develop manufacturing processes, and evaluate new manufacturing technologies
- Highly adaptable with the ability to quickly learn and apply new skills
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic with high standards for quality and productivity
Education & Certifications
- BA or BS or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline preferred
- Valid driver’s license required

- Ability to lift over 50 lbs

- Frequent kneeling, crawling, and stooping
- Frequent bending and twisting
- Frequent climbing of stairs and ladders
