Job Description:

• Work with customers during implementation and provide support
• Design and engineer custom conveyor systems for industrial automation applications using CAD & 3D Inventor software
• Initiate project kickoff meeting with in-house estimator and the customers engineering team
• Create mechanical drawings, make routine revisions, and secure the customer drawing approval
• Manage the communication between the in-house team and the customer throughout the design & engineering of these designs
• Ensure that the customer is constantly aware of project timelines & final ship date
• Release job to production and provide ongoing support on an as-needed basis throughout production & final assembly
• Adhere to department process controls & procedures

Skills Required:

· Proficient use in AutoCAD & 3D software (MUST HAVE either Inventor or SolidWorks)

· 2 or 4-year mechanical engineering degree preferred but not required

· Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
