Job Title: Cold Header Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a Cold Header Operator who will receive comprehensive training from our lead personnel and engineering team to interpret machine prints and understand product dimension specifications for production. You will operate between 2 to 6 station heading machines and be responsible for performing machine set-ups, diameter changes, and entering data in our production system for quality tracking. You will also perform machine adjustments and maintenance as needed, ensuring the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate 2 to 6 station heading machines efficiently.
- Perform machine set-ups and diameter changes with precision.
- Enter data in production systems for quality tracking.
- Conduct first and last piece inspections to ensure quality.
- Perform machine adjustments and maintenance as necessary.
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Follow safe work practices and report any safety concerns.
- Commit to cleanliness, preventive maintenance, and proper equipment use.
- Attend training and classes for cold forming technology, quality, and safety.
Essential Skills
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of experience with cold header machines.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to meet all post-offer testing requirements including background check and drug screen.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with cold forming machinery is highly preferred.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and production specifications.

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $66560.00/yr.
