We are seeking a Legal Assistant/ Paralegal to become a part of our team! We are a plaintiff's personal injury law firm representing victims of negligence throughout the State of Ohio. Our law firms handles strictly car accident, personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice and nursing home neglect cases.
Responsibilities:
- Providing legal support to the assigned attorney
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Requesting medical records and billing
- Compiling demand packages
- Assisting the attorney with calendaring
- Maintaining and working on client files
- Using case management software to ensure proper file management and handling
- Drafting correspondence and pleadings
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paralegal experience preferred, but not necessarily required.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Personal injury experience preferred, but not required
- The desire to be a member of a team who strives for greatness
