Under the supervision of BFA's Administrative Staff, the teacher is responsible for creating an environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth of the children in their assigned classes. She/he must be passionate, compassionate and empathetic in all activities and interactions relating to the children and their parents. The teacher should serve as a team member in developing creative lesson plans and implementing them in their classrooms, following BFA's Circle of Care core values (Spirited, Reliable, Respectful, Reassuring and Adaptable). The teachers must work in cooperation with their peers, the Administrative Staff, the Owners, parents and children, and any other third-parties who provide activities and care to the children.

Requirements:

• High school diploma with experience in early childhood education or related field
• Associate's or Bachelor's in early childhood education preferred
• CPR & First Aid certification (or completion within 90 days)
• Knowledge of Ohio Department of Job and Family Services childcare regulations
• Physical ability to lift infants weighing 10-30 lbs frequently
• Ability to stand, kneel, and crouch frequently throughout the day
