What you'll be doing:
- Maintaining the cleanliness and professional appearance of the veterinary hospital
- Providing for the personal and individual care of dogs and cats in the hospital
- Responsible for the cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance of all client, staff and patient areas
- Assisting in the treatment, medication and restraint of dogs and cats in the hospital setting
Requirements:
- Enjoy working with people and pets.
- Enjoy working as a part of a team.
- Must be eager to learn new skills and receptive to coaching.
- Ability to multitask.
- Gives a high level of attention to detail.
- Comfortable caring for and handling animals in a safe, effective and humane manner.
- Ability and initiative to work with minimal supervision and direction.
- Maturity, good judgment, and a professional personal appearance.
- Treat people and animals with respect.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds comfortably
- Ability to comfortably perform repetitive motions of the hands, arms and legs.
