We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician with expertise in troubleshooting, installing, and repairing electrical components and controllers ranging from 110 to 480 volts. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of PLCs, experience with hydraulic components, and the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals. The role involves maintaining and repairing vacuum furnaces and other plant equipment, ensuring a positive work atmosphere, and adhering to all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical components and controllers (110-480 volts).
- Work with and bend conduit.
- Replace sensors, switches, drives, photo eyes, inverters, servos, and more.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Perform daily maintenance and repair of vacuum furnaces.
- Assist in other plant maintenance work as required by supervision.
- Repair and maintain other plant equipment as experience indicates.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as instructed.
Essential Skills
- In-depth experience in general maintenance of all plant equipment.
- Significant electrical and electronics experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair critical machinery.
- Knowledge of vacuum furnace operation and repair.
- Experience in hydraulics, plumbing, pipe fitting, welding, and soldering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Additional education in applied theory is necessary.
- Experience in general maintenance of plant equipment.
- Electrical and electronics experience required to repair furnace controls.

Work Environment
Union environment in a larger facility. Shift hours include unlimited overtime, with a 20-minute paid lunch and 1-3 10-minute paid breaks. Third shift runs from 11pm to 7am, and while you will be placed on one shift, you must be open to all shifts due to bidding and union requirements.

The pay range for this position is $79914.00 - $79914.00/yr.
