Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted Occupational Therapist position is available to provide leave coverage in a K-12 school setting located in Cleveland, OH. This role supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade, focusing on delivering therapeutic services in a school environment. The assignment begins in the first week of April and continues through May, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across K-12 grades
- Assess and develop individualized therapy plans to support student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote student success
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy as needed
- Comply with school policies, procedures, and therapy regulations
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with K-12 developmental stages and educational environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage caseload effectively within a school schedule
- Knowledge of current therapeutic techniques applicable to school-aged children
