Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school located in Delaware, OH for the 26/27 school year (August 19th - May 19th). This contract role offers a 37.5-hour workweek supporting a caseload of 65 students. The SLP will work within a 3:1 service delivery model, providing direct student services for three weeks each month and dedicating one week per month to consultative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of 65 students.
- Collaborate with a part-time SLP who focuses on younger students and evaluations.
- Conduct consultations with teachers to support student progress.
- Write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and progress reports.
- Present at professional development sessions for school staff.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and implement best practice interventions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Eligibility or current licensure for school-based speech-language pathology.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or equivalent experience.
- Skilled in assessment, therapy planning, and collaboration with educational staff.
