Job DescriptionComResource is looking for a Lead IT Systems Engineer.
We need someone to assist in designing, implementing, and supporting hybrid infrastructure across both Azure cloud and on-premises systems to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage scalable infrastructure in Azure Cloud and on-prem environments.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Develop monitoring solutions (LogicMonitor, Azure Monitor) to ensure performance and visibility across hybrid systems.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Enforce security and compliance practices across cloud and physical systems.
- Lead architecture decisions and mentor team members on hybrid infrastructure best practices.
- Maintain key legacy infrastructure and support cloud readiness/migration planning.
- Participate in on-call rotation and support DevOps practices across the IT organization.
Essentials:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent and 12+ years of experience (or equivalent combination of experience and education).
- Deep expertise in Azure Cloud and Microsoft-based on-prem infrastructure.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Experience with hybrid cloud design, DevOps automation, and tools such as SCCM/MECM.
- Strong networking and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Must be onsite in Springfield and/or Eaton, OH at least 3 days per week.
Desired:
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with compliance and audit controls in regulated environments.
