We’re seeking a highly capable Night Shift Machinist to operate, set up, and maintain CNC and/or manual machining equipment that produces components for advanced aerospace systems.

  • Operate and set up CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers with minimal supervision during off-peak hours
  • Interpret detailed aerospace blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specifications
  • Perform accurate first‑article inspections and maintain consistent quality throughout runs
  • Conduct machine offsets, tool changes, and troubleshooting during the night shift
  • Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measurement tools for in-process checks
  • Maintain detailed production documentation and follow AS9100/ISO quality processes
  • Collaborate with day-shift teams via clear communication logs to ensure smooth handoffs
  • Contribute to a clean, efficient, and safety‑focused work environment

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred.
  • 1 - 3+ years of machining experience (CNC or manual); aerospace manufacturing is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of machining setup and operation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision work.
