Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available to provide essential support in a K-12 school setting. This role will serve as a backfill and requires working across multiple locations within the district, focusing primarily on elementary students. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 22, 2026, offering a stable, semester-long contract in Pickerington, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapeutic occupational therapy services to a caseload of up to 50 elementary students.
  • Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Support students across three different school locations within the district.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and state guidelines.
  • Adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs and promote functional independence.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Ohio license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Experience working with K-12 school-aged children is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload across multiple school sites effectively.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
