Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed to support elementary students across three school locations within a K-12 district in Pickerington, OH. This full-semester contract position offers an opportunity to work directly with a caseload of up to 50 students, providing essential therapy services to support their developmental and educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students across multiple school sites.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and support staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with parents and school personnel.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a valid Ohio license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload across multiple locations efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
