Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day field service, including but not limited to: repair service, troubleshooting, installations, and preventive maintenance relative to the local market in and around Ohio and Indiana (limited overnight travel).


Essential Duties include:

  1. Perform troubleshooting, repair service, installations or PMs as required.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and provide service phone support.
  3. Provide effective written and verbal communication internally.
  4. Maintain field reports, customer records, technical documentation, and expense reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
  5. Other related duties as assigned.
  6. Work in Ohio and Indiana; limited overnight stays

Requirements:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree or certification in a related technical field (e.g., Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance) preferred.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience as a CNC field service technician or similar role preferred.
  • Experience with CNC Machine Tools preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, CNC machines, or other relevant industrial equipment is a plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Customer-oriented attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality service.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including industrial settings.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, specific equipment certifications) are advantageous.
