Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations.
• Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
• Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of CNC equipment.
• Review and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to create accurate programs.
• Implement best practices for safety and efficiency in the machining process.
• Maintain detailed records of programming changes, machine settings, and production metrics.
• Train and mentor junior staff on CNC programming and machine operation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming languages.
• Strong understanding of CNC machinery and tooling.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is preferred.
