Kingston of Ashland is hiring Activity Assistants to support engaging, resident-centered programs in our Skilled Nursing and Senior Care community. If you enjoy creativity, connection, and making people smile, this is one of those roles where the impact shows up every single day.
From crafts and music to movement, games, and meaningful one-on-one visits, you’ll help create moments that support residents’ social, emotional, and physical well-being.
What You’ll Do

Assist with planning and leading daily activities and special events for residents

Encourage participation in recreational, social, and educational programs

Provide one-on-one engagement for residents who benefit from individualized attention

Support seasonal events, holidays, and themed activities throughout the year

Help maintain activity supplies, spaces, and participation documentation

Collaborate with the Activities Director and care team to align programs with resident needs
What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Experience in activities, recreation, or senior care preferred but not required

Creative, energetic, and people-focused personality

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Compassionate and patient approach to resident engagement

Ability to adapt activities for different interests and ability levels
