As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live safely and independently in their homes and communities. This position includes STNA-type duties focused on direct personal care and health-related support.
Primary Responsibilities Include:

Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.

Provide mobility assistance (transfers, ambulation, positioning) using proper techniques.

Monitor for changes in physical or behavioral health and report concerns promptly.

Support individuals with medication reminders and basic health maintenance routines (e.g., hygiene, and skin checks).

Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment, including light housekeeping tasks.

Maintain detailed and timely documentation of care provided and individual progress.
-
Encourage social engagement, communication, and community participation.
*Must be able to work the second shift (4 pm-12 am) or third shifts (12a-8am)
