Job DescriptionQuickPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a 2nd shift opportunity with a manufacturing facility in Springfield, Ohio. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, particularly with metal stamping presses, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems
- Maintain and service metal stamping presses
- Safely disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery and complex devices
- Follow proper lock-out/tag-out procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with maintenance team members, production associates, and supervisors
- Perform general building maintenance as needed
- Work safely in confined spaces and at heights up to 40 feet
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Use personal basic hand tools to complete maintenance tasks
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and stretching
- Ability to lift 25–100 lbs
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity required
- Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet
- Normal hearing and vision required
- Work performed in a factory/manufacturing environment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Post-high school training in machinery maintenance, electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, or related fields preferred
- Previous stamping press maintenance experience required
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC platforms preferred
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Basic computer skills and data entry experience

- Ability to maintain organized schedules and documentation
