Make a difference as a Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician at EDEN, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections and maintenance on facilities to ensure optimal function and safety. Daily tasks will include troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, as well as conducting repairs and preventative maintenance. You will document maintenance activities and coordinate with team members to prioritize tasks effectively. Engaging with staff and clients, you will provide exceptional customer service while addressing facility-related concerns. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is essential, so you will adhere to safety protocols and best practices.

Requirements for this Maintenance Technician job

To be successful as a Maintenance Technician at EDEN, you should possess an adequate set of tools necessary for daily tasks, along with trade or technical school training. A minimum of two years of relevant work experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic is preferred, or three years of hands-on experience in a similar role. You must have the ability to independently troubleshoot issues and carry out repairs effectively to maintain company facilities.

Strong communication skills are essential for efficiently addressing maintenance-related work orders and collaborating with team members. A valid Ohio driver's license with four points or less is required, along with an operable vehicle and proof of insurance. Additionally, you should be willing and able to participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring that you are available to respond to urgent facility needs as they arise.


Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • A Maintenance Technician at EDEN Inc will need an adequate set of tools to perform daily job tasks.
  • Trade and/or technical school training paired with at least 2 years of relevant work experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic preferred.
  • Or 3 years of relevant maintenance technician or mechanic work experience preferred.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot and perform daily repairs to maintain and upkeep company facilities.
  • Strong communication skills are essential to address maintenance related work orders efficiently.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license with 4 points or less.
  • Operable vehicle and proof of insurance.
  • Must be able to work on call rotation.
