Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The successful candidate will assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings, with a focus on commercial real estate and intellectual property cases. This role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents and filings for litigation cases
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
  • Draft pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal correspondence
  • Coordinate with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings and depositions
  • Review and summarize legal documents and case files
  • Assist in trial preparation, including the organization of exhibits and witness preparation
  • Manage deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks in accordance with court requirements

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably in commercial real estate or intellectual property
  • Strong knowledge of litigation processes and procedures
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
