We are a locally-owned trucking company seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join
our dedicated team on the day shift. If youre passionate about maintaining and repairing our
diverse fleet of Freightliner tractors with Detroit engines and Peterbilts powered by Cummins and
Paccar engines, wed love to have you on board!
Job Description

As a Diesel Mechanic at Mid Ohio Valley Bulk Transport, you will play a critical role in keeping
our fleet in top condition to ensure safe and reliable operations. Your responsibilities will
include:
Diagnosing and repairing engines, electrical systems, drivelines, air systems, air brakes, A/C,
suspension, after-treatment systems, and ABS systems.
Conducting thorough inspections and troubleshooting issues to meet safety and performance
standards.
Lifting up to 50 lbs as needed during repairs and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

Were looking for a dependable and experienced heavy-duty mechanic with the following:
Proven experience with Freightliner tractors (Detroit engines) and Peterbilts (Cummins and
Paccar engines).
Solid knowledge of routine maintenance, PM services, electrical systems, drivelines, air
systems, brakes, A/C, suspension, after-treatment systems, and ABS diagnostics.
Possession of your own tools.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Valid drivers license (CDL Class A is not required but is a plus!).
Ability to pass a drug screen.
Strong work ethic and reliability.

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (8-hour shifts).
Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required based on demand.
Must be able to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week.
