The Team
Join our Innovation Team! We focus on building high-quality sales demonstrations, running proof-of-concept projects with emerging technologies (AI, edge computing, real-time data platforms), and experimenting with new ways to push retail technology forward.
What You’ll Do
As a Software Engineer on the Innovation Team, you’ll apply your creativity and technical skills to projects that blend engineering, innovation, and sales. You will:

Design and build demo environments that showcase Jumpmind’s software in action.

Prototype new capabilities using modern technologies (AI, machine learning, edge systems, etc.).

Contribute to proof-of-concept efforts with prospective clients.

Develop internal tools and automations that improve team agility and creativity.

Collaborate with a supportive, curious team that values resourcefulness and practical problem-solving.
What We’re Looking For

Entry-to-mid-level software engineer with a strong desire to learn, adapt, and deliver.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.

Proficiency in at least one modern, general-purpose programming language such as Java or C#.

Experience with the following is a plus: JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular/React/Svelte/Vue, and Spring Boot. Kubernetes and DevOps experience are also beneficial.

Curiosity about emerging technologies and how they integrate into enterprise-scale systems.

Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.

A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, exploratory environment.
