Job Title: Part-Time Family Nurse Practitioner – Correctional Facility (Male Population)
Location: Ohio (On-site)
Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours/week – 1st shift (Monday–Friday). Flexible start and end times based on facility operations. No evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Pay Rate: $65–$70/hour
Assignment Duration: 3 months (with potential extension based on need and mutual fit)
Job Description:
We are seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide on-site primary care services for the male population at a correctional facility. The FNP will deliver comprehensive healthcare, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care, in alignment with facility protocols and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to the male inmate population on-site.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up care.
- Collaborate with correctional health staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with facility policies.
- Adhere to all state, federal, and facility-specific regulations, including infection control protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives as required.
Qualifications:
- Current Ohio Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
- Minimum 1 year of NP experience in primary care.
- Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification.
- DEA certification (as required for assignment).
- Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site in a correctional facility setting.
Additional Information:
- Flexible shift start and end times to accommodate facility operations.
- Assignment may be extended beyond 3 months based on performance and mutual agreement.
