Storm Search is seeking a 1st, 2nd or 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician for a growing, reputable company in Akron, Ohio.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical devices by observing operations and listening for irregularities.
- Dismantle machinery to access and replace defective parts, inspecting components for wear or damage.
- Adjust and repair functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Lubricate, clean, and maintain machinery following food/beverage manufacturing quality standards.
- Install special functional and structural components and test equipment for proper operation.
- Set up and operate metalworking tools such as lathes, drill presses, and grinders to fabricate or repair parts.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure reliable equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot and adjust palletizing equipment and robotic systems.
- Identify and resolve problems efficiently using data, intuition, and experience.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Initiate purchase orders for required parts and equipment while maintaining budget constraints.
- Use equipment and materials properly, reporting any potentially unsafe conditions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Two to three years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and work instructions.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical and electromechanical systems.
- Experience with palletizing equipment and robotic troubleshooting is a plus.
