Funeral Director in Charge Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in funeral services.
- Valid Funeral Directors’ License in Ohio and/or Michigan, or ability to obtain reciprocity.
- Completion of a two-year college degree or specialized course of study.
- Passing both sections of the National Board Exam (NBE) as per state requirements.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with management and staff.
Funeral Director in Charge Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in administrative and operational management within the funeral industry.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations and ethical standards in funeral services.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of licensed professionals.
