What You’ll Do: As an Equipment Reliability Engineer, you ensure operational excellence by conducting necessary maintenance and optimizing equipment efficiency. This involves assessing machinery, conducting repairs, and executing low voltage electrical and plumbing tasks.
- Perform routine inspections and collaborate with machine operators to enhance equipment utilization.
- Innovate preventative maintenance strategies geared towards minimizing unexpected downtimes.
- Skillfully manage resources during maintenance windows to uphold production efficiency.
- Facilitate repairs and contribute to continuous improvement via Kaizen and Six-Sigma methodologies.
- Document maintenance activities and generate insightful reports for ongoing improvement.
Essentials for Success: You should possess a year of technical education or relevant experience, augmented by a fervor for mechanical workings. A two-year technical degree elevates desirability.
- Commitment to safety and detail-oriented approaches to troubleshooting.
- Robust physical ability to meet job demands, including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
