Title: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech
Location: Sylvania, OH
Duration: 17 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (18:45–07:15)
Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements:
- Perform and score a variety of sleep studies including Adult and Pediatric MWT, MSLT, PSG scoring, respiratory events, sleep stages, hypopnea, Cheyne–Stokes, periodic breathing, complex sleep apnea, and seizure studies (preferred).
- Conduct titration procedures: CPAP, BiPAP, VPAP, ASV, oxygen administration.
- Monitor cardiac abnormalities, ECG, EEG, O2 saturation, end-tidal CO₂, periodic limb movements (PLM), respiratory inductance plethysmography (RIP), and PSG.
- Perform mask fitting for full face, nasal, and nasal pillow interfaces.
- Utilize Natus Sleep Works equipment; Epic charting preferred.
- Float between Flower and Bay Park as required.
- Care for patients across age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics.
- Patient load typically 2–3; unit includes 9 rooms.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Certifications: BLS, RPSGT, or RRT/SDS (only one required).
- No travel experience required; first-time travelers accepted.
