About the Position

Due to growth, we are looking for an experienced Property Services Manager (PSM) to add to our team.

The main responsibility of a PSM is to oversee the maintenance, repairs, and projects related to their assigned Portfolio of properties. This role is ideal for someone skilled in the trades, experienced in managing/coordinating vendors, and who knows how to properly care for a variety of property types. The PSM collaborates closely with Owners, Property Managers, other internal team members, and vendors to take excellent care of the properties under their purview.

You will spend about 65% of the time in the field; 35% of the time in their home office. You will be assigned an Assistant Property Services Manager (APSM), whom you will jointly manage with the company. The APSM will help you follow company processes, assemble estimates, communicate and coordinate with owners, tenants, vendors, etc, and whatever else they can to support you and your "pods" success.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee maintenance repairs, and projects on assigned properties.
• Schedule, manage, QC vendors and contractors
• Conduct property and unit inspections to identify maintenance needs
• Oversee unit turns and ensure rent-ready standards are met
• Respond to urgent and emergency issues with guidance as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local codes
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update property management systems per company policy
• Partner closely with clients on maintenance planning and execution


Requirements:

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on property maintenance or turnover experience
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
• Experience supporting the service needs of single-family and/or multi-family properties
• Demonstrated project management or project leadershipAbility to prioritize time and resources
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Clear, professional communication
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of results


Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting multi-property or mixed-use portfolios
• Familiarity with Rentvine, Aptly, or similar PM systems
• Experience with capital projects or large repairs
• Prior work in a growing or scaling property management company
