Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support high school students in Cuyahoga Falls, OH for the upcoming school year (August 15, 2025 to May 30, 2026). This role offers 28 hours per week, providing services to a caseload of up to 15 students, primarily at the high school level. The caseload size may vary based on enrollment fluctuations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to high school students, supporting their IEP goals.
- Utilize the districts IEP system (training will be provided) to document therapeutic interventions and progress.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure student success within an itinerant service model.
- Participate in paid team meetings and allocated indirect (administrative) time.
- Support students in a dedicated therapy space with appropriate resources.
- Provide clinical supervision, if applicable, depending on credential status.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) or currently in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and eligible for school licensure.
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly high school students.
- Ability to work effectively in an itinerant or caseload model with flexibility.
- Proficiency with IEP compliance and documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
