Compensation: $34–$40/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday — local routes only (no overnight travel)

We’re looking for a Field Service Diesel Mechanic to perform on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for commercial trucks and fleet vehicles across the toledo ohio area.

You’ll be part of a team that values technician independence, customer service, and safety — all while building a rewarding, long-term career in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and powertrains
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and emissions systems using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Conduct DOT inspections and complete digital service documentation with accuracy
• Manage daily service routes, maintain parts inventory, and communicate repair needs with dispatch or customers
• Deliver exceptional service while representing a professional, customer-focused organization

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic
• Experience with Cummins, Detroit Diesel, CAT, Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, or International equipment preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• ASE certification preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
