We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, demonstrating mechanical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires proficiency in working with various automotive systems, including powertrains, while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake services, and tire rotations.
- Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues using specialized tools and equipment.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to understand vehicle systems and components.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, including electrical systems.
- Utilize welding techniques as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Align wheels and perform suspension work to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of automotive service practices and procedures.
- Proficient in mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Experience with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques.
- Understanding of powertrain systems and their components.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Welding skills are advantageous for certain repair tasks.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42.5 per week
Schedule:

Experience:
- Automotive repair: 5 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
