Title: Quality Technician I
Shift:
First Shift, 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday.
Second Shift, 3:00pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday
Weekend, 6:00am - 6:30pm Friday-Sunday
Salary: $19.00 - $25.00
Quality Technician I Role
Our client is seeking a Quality Technician I to perform Quality Inspection, Testing, and Audits of company products to ensure they comply with Quality Standards, Specifications, and Customer requirements. This role exists to proactively maintain and verify product quality across the business, supporting compliance and customer satisfaction.
Quality Technician I Responsibilities

Complete assigned Quality Inspection, Testing, and Audits in a timely manner to ensure compliance with quality requirements

Operate common inspection and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gages

Utilize specialized inspection and measurement equipment like Comparators, Hardness Testers, and Torque/Tension Machines, as applicable

Perform inspection and testing to support the completion of production and quality processes

Read and understand both company and customer drawings and specifications

Prepare Quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing Quality and production data

Follow Work Instructions and comply with company Policies and Procedures

Maintain a clean and organized workspace and behave in a safe and professional manner
Quality Technician I Reporting Relationships
The Quality Technician I reports directly to the Quality Manager. This position is Non-Exempt and does not have any direct reports.
About You
-
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Demonstrate strong basic math skills

Have experience with basic measurement tools such as Calipers, Micrometers, and Gages
-
Be proficient in MS-Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
-
Interact positively with and support other company departments as necessary

Demonstrate a cooperative attitude and always consider the best long-term interests of the company

Additional Information
This position will frequently spend time on the manufacturing floor as well as in the office. While on the manufacturing floor, the Quality Technician will be required to wear eye and hearing protection. Safety-toed shoes will be required around and on manufacturing equipment.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear. The employee frequently walks and climbs stairs, and is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
