Columbia Woodlands is currently seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Guest Services Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the face of our resort, providing warm hospitality and exceptional service to our guests from check-in to check-out. You’ll also play a key role in coordinating with various departments to ensure each guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests upon arrival with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm

  • Assist with guest check-in/check-out processes and help with luggage as needed

  • Deliver meals and beverages to guests in cabins or common areas

  • Provide accurate information about the property, dining options, and on-site activities

  • Record and process food and beverage orders using the POS system

  • Prepare check-in materials, welcome folders, and special request items

  • Respond to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and courteously

  • Perform routine property checks to ensure guest satisfaction and safety

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, grounds, kitchen, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations

  • Handle service requests and guest concerns with professionalism and efficiency

  • Promote and up-sell packages, experiences, and resort offerings

  • Maintain a positive, energetic attitude and represent the Columbia Woodlands brand

  • Support management with additional tasks and special projects as needed

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality, guest services, or a related field (resort or hotel experience preferred)

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficient in computer systems, including reservation and POS platforms

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a genuine passion for helping others

  • Comfortable working outdoors and in nature-focused settings

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform tasks that may require standing or walking for extended periods
