Project Manager - Big Box Retail/Industrial Building
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the development and construction of big box retail projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial construction, site development, and working with large-scale retail operations. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple big box retail construction projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
- Oversee site development activities to ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Facilitate communication among project teams and provide updates to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, particularly in big box retail or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and site development practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
