Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED Main)Duties / Job Description:
- Provide specialized nursing care to individuals and groups.
- Use knowledge from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Deliver care based on the TCH model, emphasizing partnership with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ensure care is age-specific and culturally appropriate.
- Adhere to the American Nursing Association (ANA) Code of Ethics and the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
Unit Description – ED Main:
- Specialty: Adult cardiac care & complex internal medicine.
- Size: 33-bed emergency department.
- Team: Board-certified emergency medicine physicians, trauma surgeons, nurses, PAs, and social workers.
- Staffing: All-RN nursing team.
- Environment: High-acuity, fast-paced, requires strong critical thinking skills.
