Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a K-12 school setting in Warren, OH. This contract role offers the opportunity to work 20 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule of 3 to 5 days weekly. The caseload will include approximately 15-24 renewals and around 10 initial evaluations, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on students academic and emotional development throughout the school year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Ohio School Psychologist Certification required
- Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students
- Ability to conduct psychological assessments, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with educators and families
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to support diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and interpret psycho-educational assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies and behavioral plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal student outcomes
- Participate in meetings such as IEP and 504 planning
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
