Responsibilities:
- Supervises grounds staff and assigns duties as needed.
- Ensures various properties are maintained including mowing, trimming, edging, snow removal, and trash removal as needed.
- Maintain all groundskeeping equipment.
- Performs various repairs and preventive maintenance on hospital vehicle fleet and other equipment as needed.
- Diagnose various vehicle issues and needs and coordinate with outside vendors for repairs.
- Complete repair work orders as assigned.
- Maintain electronic records of maintenance performed on vehicles & equipment.
- Assists with multiple Hospital special events including delivery, setup & removal of tents and other event equipment.
- Some special events will require some weekend and evening hours each year.
- Coordinate with Manager and other staff as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must have 3-5 years of general automotive diagnostic & repair experience.
- Complete annual WebEds courses and other education requirements.
- Must have valid Ohio driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the hospital's liability insurance carrier.
- LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.
