About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Intervention Specialist to join ourteam in Columbus, OH. This position operatesprimarily supporting students through an inclusion model. You will work collaboratively within general education classrooms to provide specialized interventions tailored to individual student needs. This role is offered in partnership with ProCare Therapy, emphasizing a team-based approach to ensure every students success.

Caseload & Setting:

  • Caseload of 16 students, responsible for writing and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student

  • Ensure compliance with all timelines, due dates, and mandated minutes related to IEPs

Employment Details:

  • Full-time hourly position, 40 hours per week

  • Direct deposit paid weekly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must hold active 5-year Intervention Specialist License with SoR endorsement

  • Provide specialized intervention services tailored to individual student needs

  • Write, manage, and maintain compliance of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for 16 students

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to implement effective inclusion strategies

  • Utilize evidence-based instructional methods aligned with the Science of Reading framework

  • Monitor and track student progress and adjust interventions accordingly

  • Maintain clear and timely communication with students, families, and the ProCare Therapy team

Qualifications:

  • Active Full Intervention Specialist License

  • Completed Science of Reading training

  • Experience working in alternative or transitional educational settings preferred
