As a Diesel Mechanic at ER Autocare, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered vehicles and light-to-medium duty trucks. Work alongside an experienced service team in a positive culture where your hard work is recognized and rewarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines and related systems
• Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, emissions, and hydraulic systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance, oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and brake inspections
• Perform DOT and fleet inspections where applicable
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about needed repairs and timelines
• Maintain accurate documentation of all services and repairs performed
• Follow all safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, collaborative shop culture

Qualifications

• 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience (light-, medium-, or heavy-duty)
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)
• ASE Certifications or Diesel Tech School training preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
