The Role
As a Coldstream Solar Electrician, you’ll be at the heart of our installation and service teams, ensuring every system is wired safely, efficiently, and to code. You’ll work on residential and commercial solar projects, collaborating with project managers, installers, and clients to deliver top-tier results.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical components of solar PV systems
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and safety standards
- Perform system testing and commissioning
- Collaborate with field teams to meet project timelines and quality benchmarks
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
Qualifications
- Valid state electrician license (Journeyman or Master preferred)
- 2+ years of electrical experience, solar experience a plus
- Strong understanding of NEC and local electrical codes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors and on rooftops
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
