Production Associate - 1st/2nd/3rd Shift - Valley City, OH
- Location: Valley City, OH
- Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available
- Pay: $17-$19/hour
Essential Responsibilities
- Operate various production machines.
- Support production across all lines and ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Assist with coil changeovers.
- Remove, pack, rework, and repack finished parts as needed.
- Inspect parts visually and/or using gauges and measurement tools.
- Perform basic machine setups or troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate part counts.
- Work in other production departments as needed.
- Ensure product quality and stop production when nonconformances occur.
- Follow all quality system (QMS) procedures and assigned functions.
- Adhere to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work instructions, prints, and control plans.
- Proficiency with measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and hand tools.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
- Work environment includes loud noise; hearing protection required.
- Exposure to fumes, coolant, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing, reaching, grasping, and lifting.
- Ability to visually inspect parts and use measuring tools safely and accurately.
- Ability to operate machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
