1- Automotive environment engineering experience is required.

2- They WANT hands on mechanical engineer – DON’T want someone doing pure design work.

3- Relocation assistance is provided

4- Candidates from states other than WV would be the suggested target search areas as extensive reach outs have been made in the direct WV area. Bordering states would be ideal search locations but can come from any location and be eligible for relocation.

Job Details:

The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for assigned manufacturing processes. Through input from the customer, plant staff, and production employees the Manufacturing Engineer will review process controls, emphasize continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing methodology.

Participate in the development of cell layouts, set up reduction (SMED), lead time reduction and improve productivity through waste reduction. In addition, the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for achieving product target cost, improved efficiency and identifying possible production problems for existing products within their scope of accountability.

** Automotive environment engineering experience is required. **

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree – Someone with an IE degree with relevant experience as a process engineer will also be considered. Chemical Engineers are not a good fit.

Process improvement experience (efficiency, waste reduction, scrap reduction, etc).

Automotive Manufacturing industry engineering experience.

AIAG core tools (such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA)

3D CAD design a plus

PLC (A/B or Fanuc preferred but any is ok). Troubleshooting or programming.

Robotics / automation environments

Stable work history is needed.
