Boiler Maintenance Mechanic – Immediate Start
Pay: $28+/hr
Smith Hughes, a 75+ year-old company, is looking for a hands-on Boiler Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role focuses on inspecting, maintaining, and repairing our rental boiler fleet, so prior boiler inspection experience is a must.
What you’ll do:

Inspect and troubleshoot steam, hot water, and thermal fluid boilers

Perform parts replacement, wiring, piping, and some welding

Rebuild pumps and assist with mechanical/electrical repairs
-
Work on pipe fitting and control systems (experience a plus)

Run conduit and handle basic electrical tasks

Keep equipment maintained and running safely
What we’re looking for:

Prior mechanical and boiler inspection experience

Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills

Comfortable with pipe fitting, wiring, and basic electrical work

Experience with controls is a plus

Self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team

Detail-oriented and reliable
