Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support pediatric students in a K-8 school setting in Westerville, OH. This contract position begins in late August and runs through the academic year, offering 2 to 3 days per week of service. The role involves sharing the caseload with an on-site SLP and providing teletherapy as needed.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Ohio SLP license required; willingness to obtain OH teaching certification preferred
- Experience in pediatric healthcare and school-based SLP services
- Teletherapy proficiency is a must
- Pediatric Focused, including K-8 student populations
- Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) completion strongly preferred
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred but flexible for the right person
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and deliver therapy to students with various disabilities
- Collaborate with school staff and families to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support flexible scheduling and adapt services between on-site and teletherapy formats
- Maintain compliance with Ohio educational and healthcare standards
- Document progress and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
