Job DescriptionMancan is working with a company in Berlin seeking a chlorinator operator. This is a temp to hire opportunity for the right candidate based upon attitude, attendance, and performance. Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4pm with Saturday overtime as needed. Pay is $16 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate chlorination machines to process parts
- Load and unload parts safely into and out of the chlorination system
- Monitor cycle times, temperatures, pressures, and chemical levels during operation
- Inspect parts before and after processing to ensure proper chlorination and quality standards
- Handle chlorine in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment, process, or quality issues
- Complete production logs, safety checklists, and quality documentation accurately
Qualifications:
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Ability to understand and follow written procedures and safety instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Safety-focused mindset with respect for chemical handling procedures
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 20-40 pounds
