Job Description
As a Tool and Die Repairman, you’ll be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing progressive dies and tooling equipment. Disassemble, clean, inspect and reassemble tooling as needed.Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair progressive dies and tooling equipment
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble tooling as needed
- Utilize grinders, lathes, mills, and other tool room equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and dies per schedule
- Document all repairs, modifications, and preventive tasks accurately
- Work closely with press operators and engineering on tooling issues
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tool and die repair in a stamping environment
- Proficiency in operating tool room equipment (grinders, mills, lathes, etc.)
- Strong blueprint reading and math skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings

The base salary range for this position is $25/hr. or more based on experience, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
