Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a keen eye for cleanliness, ensuring that every vehicle meets our high standards of presentation. This role involves performing thorough cleaning and detailing of vehicles, both inside and out, to enhance customer satisfaction and maintain the quality of our service. *Please note this is a part-time position with a maximum of 20 hours/week to start. The goal is to grow this role into a permanent full-time position with benefits.* We are based out of the Clintonville/UA area and service the majority of Metro Columbus with our mobile unit.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of vehicles, including maintenance washing, decontamination prep, paint correction & ceramic coating.
- Detail the interiors of vehicles by vacuuming, shampooing & extracting carpets, and cleaning upholstery.
- Apply window tinting as needed, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Conduct custodial duties to maintain cleanliness in the detailing area and surrounding environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring their needs are met during the detailing process.
- Drive vehicles safely to and from the detailing area as required.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive detailing or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to clean effectively using various techniques and products suitable for different surfaces.
- Experience with paint correction techniques to enhance vehicle finishes is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for driving work van.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve standing for long periods, lifting equipment, and moving around vehicles efficiently.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
