Training provided with opportunity to grow skills.Job DescriptionAs a Solderer, you will perform detailed hand assembly work on post-surface mount printed circuit boards by following written work instructions and assembly documentation. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, directly contributing to the production of high-quality electronic assemblies.ResponsibilitiesPerform hand assembly work on post-surface mount circuit boards.
Identify and read values, polarity, and orientation of thru-hole components such as capacitors, resistors, transistors, and ICs.
Verify correct component placement and orientation according to printed circuit boards.
Read and interpret assembly drawings and Bills of Material (BOMs) to identify customer part numbers.
Confirm thru-hole part values and ensure proper placement.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards.
Utilize basic assembly tools and equipment, including hot glue, clipping, masking, and related processes.
Notify team leaders of quality concerns or process deviations.
Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications and RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in a production assembly environment preferred; training provided as needed.
Ability to follow detailed written work instructions and assembly documentation.
Manual dexterity and attention to detail required for handling small electronic components.
Strong sense of responsibility for individual work quality.
