Assembly Technician
$17-$19 Per Hour to Start, Temp to Hire
1st shift Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm
Columbus, OH
Join an internationally recognized designer, manufacturer, and marketer of research-grade and clinical biomechanical equipment and software.
What you'll be doing:
- Prepare transducer bodies for strain gage placement and bonding using sand blasters and various cleaning agents
- Marking transducer blanks to ensure gages are precisely placed in the required position and orientation
- Precise adhesive bonding of the strain gage and wiring tab to marked transducer blanks
- Perform high quality point to point soldering on small assemblies
- Perform quality checks on finished assemblies
- Perform quality checks on finished assemblies
Who we're looking for:
- High school diploma is required
- Must be able to read and write English
- Microsoft Office Knowledge
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics
- Previous production facility experience required
- Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination
