Established community association (condo/HOA law) firm that offers a tremendous opportunity for long term advancement and professional development opportunities is excited to add a paralegal to our dynamic and engaging Cincinnati office that offers a tremendous opportunity to begin or continue a career in the legal field, with long term advancement and professional development opportunities. This position prefers prior experience with judgment collections foreclosure or bankruptcy proceedings, including liens, court dockets, preparing and filing pleadings, motions, and affidavits, as well as familiarity with real estate documents, such as title work and deeds.
Position Description:
Answering correspondence and phone calls
Format, revise, and finalize correspondence
Practice management software data entry
Help with the preparation of documents
Assist with team projects
File pleadings, motions, and affidavits based on deadlines
Optimum Skills:
Excellent personal skills
Must be available weekdays between 8:00am - 5:00pm for in-office work. An occasional week night or weekend may be required.
Strong math and accounting skills
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
Prior work experience required - must demonstrate dedication and hard work
Most recent cumulative grade point average must be 3.0 or higher
High school diploma required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Must contain excellent skills in Microsoft Word, including the ability to create an automatic outline, print mailing labels, and insert/format multiple columns
Ability to work high volume under pressure while still demonstrating excellent personal skills
